Our Vision

By the year 2010, SQM forecasts to have consolidated even stronger its indisputable leader position as reliable producer and service provider in its three main businesses: Specialty Plant Nutrition, Iodine and Lithium, thus having been transformed into a creative source of added value for its customers. This unique business position is inextricably intertwined with the company's unmatched access to high quality natural resources, installed capacity and its high flexibility to react rapidly to sudden changes in market conditions. At the same time, SQM's management continues being driven by a well-defined set of principles that reflect the company's corporate culture, including a strong ethical behaviour, a high sense of responsibility towards the community and the environment, and, the fair treatment of its shareholders, employees and customers.

Values are the fundamental pillars that support all SQM stands for. They are the basis for our personnel's behaviour and they are our starting point to approach the market and our target groups. It reflects what the world can expect from SQM and what we can expect from ourselves.
